Hi!
I live with my family in Croatia, Europe. I teach German to primary school kids and translate books. I like perfumes, haute couture designers (especially Hubert de Givenchy, Cristobal Balenciaga, Pierre Balmain and Bill Blass), literature and the Croatian naive art.
My favourite place on Earth is Medjugorje. (www.medjugorje.hr)

*This website seems like a fantastic idea and that is why I joined this community. I am what you can call "an old soul" and love ideas, things, virtues and concepts which are slowly dying out and are considered to be "old-fashioned" or "outdated". As far as my postcard preferences are concerned, I am really looking forward to any postcard you send me. Please, be a bit creative. I hate when people simply write: "Happy birthday!", "Happy postcrossing!" or "Merry Christmas!" It is the utmost disrespect one can show towards another person. If you don't know what to write about, here are some ideas: a) Your life motto, b) recommendations of what I should visit, eat, drink and buy as a souvenir in your place if I came as a tourist, c) your plans for the upcoming summer holidays.
There is just one thing I am disappointed with- not many people want to stay in touch. We simply exchange postcards and this is it. :-(
