I am passionate about travel and my current big dream is to to live anywhere in Italy for a few months to experience typical Italian life and learn the language.

A big dream has come true in 2012 - 6 wonderful, spectacular weeks in Italy thanks to a Postcrossing member and his family. Thank you Giovanni and "your girls."

I am passionate about nearly everything about travel, particularly Europe in general, and especially Italy. I love the culture, the architecture, the scenery, the friendliness and hospitality of Italian people, the "feeling" the atmosphere of being there. Its over 3 months now (December 2012) since I had 6 weeks in Italy and I am missing it so much. I feel quite displaced by being back in Australia. I felt so comfortable being there, had a sense of "belonging" that I loved. I miss it all and long to return.

There are not many places in the word I would not be interested in either going to again or for the first time.

If possible I will always look on the internet to see photos of the town or city where you live and perhaps even be able to see your street on Google Earth.

I live in a house about 20 minutes from the coast. My avatar is one of the fabulous views - Lake Garda - I saw on my trip to Italy. Among my favourite things are being able to see the surf, hear the waves, smell the salt air and be in the water, music, sharing meals with friends and going to movies.

I am interested in many things apart from travel. I love reading, music, crafts, theatre, markets, 2nd hand shopping, recycling, eating and coffee with friends.

I am spiritually aware, but I am not religious - so please do not send religious cards.

I would like to receive any other kind of postcards (even ad and home-made cards - why don't people like them?) from anywhere and everywhere in the world and that they show any of the following ideas

* the people, culture and scenery of where you live
* coloured or black and white
* creativity
* imagination
* inspiring
* colourful
* different
* exotic
* fun
* cards that would make me say "oh that is SO beautiful"
* I would love to receive cards in my birthday month (October)

and hear from you about your life and things you think about that are especially important to you.

I've only been sending and receiving cards for a short time but I am so much enjoying doing so, and look forward very much to the next happy address to send to or a card received.

I have some postmarked Australian stamps if anyone would like them - if you would please send me your address and I will be happy to post them to you.
