About Gerry...

My name is Geraldine, or rather short "Gerry". I'm 34 years old and living in a small village in The Netherlands, together with my husband and our (rather spoiled) cat Dinky.
I'm very fond of books, I read and collect almost every genre... but mostly thrillers, fantasy and children's literature (wich I studied at university) Three days a week I work in a wonderful bookstore.

I've always been fascinated by artistic graphics, and I assume therefore by artistic postcards as well. I love nostalgic cards, like black-and-white photos, drawings/illustrations or those old vintage advertisements. Especially when they have a touch of 'unrealness'... or, to put it better: I really love it when they have an irrealistic, even somewhat eerie atmosphere. Hard to understand perhaps, but I dare you to try and find one for me!

And at last one little request: please write me something about yourself, or your cat, family, hobbies, school, work, vacationplans, etc. on the back of the card?
