Hi!
My name is Astrid, I'm a 17-year-old living in the Netherlands, near Rotterdam. I love postcrossing because enjoy receiving actual mail instead of the internet-version of mail. Also, sending and receiving postcards makes me feel like a citizen of the world instead of just a Dutchie or European. I love how postcrossing breaks the boundaries of statelines, cultures, religions and age.
I'm currently in my final year in high school, and I'm planning on going to Australia for a year after I graduate! :)
I love learning about other cultures and its habits, and therefore I like postcards that show something about your country, culture, geography etc :) I also like vintage cards and cards with quotations on them.
Don't know what to write? I know how you feel ;) Just tell me something about yourself and your life! It doesn't really matter what the card says, receiving it is already a great gift!
