About Janek...

Since I enjoy learning foreign languages, I've decided to start with postcrossing. Besides, I'm an avid reader of all kinds of books (above all - classical Polish and world literature). Marital arts are my another life-long passion (I train Judo and used to train Jiu-jitsu). I was born and live in Szczecin - beautiful city in the north-western part of Poland (not for everyone - as one proverb says - "beauty is in the eye of the beholder"). Anyway, It's worth a visit, so that you can form your own opinion about the capital city of West Pomerania :-)

I forgot to mention, that I'm also really interested in history. So it would be great if you write something about important events and figures associated with the place, where you live.

Last few wishes :-) If your mother tongue is German, I would love to get a card in your language as it's one of my favourites. By the way, I'm going to study in Germany.

If you are a French speaker, show no mercy for me and write as I were French as well. That would be a good challenge for me :-)

If you are my dear compatriot stop practising English for a while and write me something in our gorgeous language :-) It would be great if you teach me some regional variation of Polish.

If you speak Russian it would also be great to have a card written entirely in your language. One of my judo friends is Ukrainian - he speaks Russian very well - I will ask him to translate.

Spanish is a language that my girlfriend learns. If you feel the most comfortable with this one, feel free to write :-)

I'm almost done :-D If you speak Chinese, you could make my best friend really happy writting a card in Mandarin Chinese. She is crazy about Chinese and seizes every opportunity to write, read or speak that language (sometimes at the cost of margins of my notebooks)

I can't wait to hear something about your language. All languages are unique. I'm looking forward to hearing what makes your mother tonque different from the other ones :-)

Thank You :-)
