I'm 41 years old and living in Twente, a region in the east of the Netherlands. I live in a (small) village; Vriezenveen. It's close to the German border and about 30 minutes by car from Enschede.
I like to travel and get familiar with other cultures & habits, art, special places, etc.

I like to receive a stamped postcard that is somehow connected with the country you live. It can be from a city, the place you live, landscapes, buildings or something else, that's up to you.

After a few weeks of postcrossing I accidently discovered, I especially like evening view postcards with a well-known or special building from your country and postcards with (recipes of) "national food". It would be very nice if you send me a card like this if possible.
Besides that I like cards with elephants and 2CV.
Postcards from original driftwood paintings by Martin Wiscombe are very welcome too! (I have already: cream teas, sandcastle, surf boards for hire, three beach huts and scallop shells.)
If you're from Belarus: If it's possible for you to send me a card from the fauna or flora serie; I'll be delighted! (I have from the fauna serie at the moment: brown bear, European wolf, European bison and wild boar.)
And if you are from Russia: I've seen Kotovasiya cards from other (Dutch) postcrossers and I really like those cards. I would love to get them myself too! :D
A special request for postcrossers from Italy: You can make me very happy with a Gustav Klimt-Malcesine on Lake Garda postcard! :D

In my favorites I'll start a collection of cards which I would love to receive (but not yet in my possession). This doesn´t mean that I have received already all other cards which I like. So if you have a card which I should like: just send it! :D

It would be wonderful if you could help me to collect cards which I especially like, but don't worry if this isn't possible for you: all I've written above are just suggestions, I'm also happy with other cards and I really like surprises! :D That's also the reason I don't "fave" any card which I receive; I'm happy with the effort you take to send me a card!

I do appreciate it if you will write down a bit in your own language, and possibly also something in a language which I understand.

P.S.: Normally, I register cards at the same day I receive them. So, please don't hesitate to send me a message about a (expired) card you send me, which I, looking at the traveltime, could have register before.
