I am a mom of 2 awesome and handsome boys, ages 16 and 12, and have a wonderful hubby. I love reading, baking, cats (we have 9!), old movies, and gardening. I also love genealogy and work as a genealogist.

I love learning about different languages and cultures, and trying new recipes. I am happy to receive your favorite recipes from your home country!

I have been to Canada, England, Germany, France, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Belgium, Holland, and Sweden. I am American, but my ancestry is Swedish, Austrian-Italian, Pennsylvania Dutch, and a wee bit Alsatian.

I am happy to receive any type of postcards, handmade ones would be really cool, too and I would love to hear about what you do where you live! I really appreciate when thought is put into the writing, not just a "hello". I want to learn something from you! =)

Also, direct swaps from anywhere are fine. I especially would love to hear from Sweden, as it is my favorite country and culture.
