Hello , I am Anneke from Albergen, a small village in the eastern part of the Netherlands, 64 years old and happy with my life.
I live outside a country village.
Love my husband, my children, the 6 grandchildren and our fosterchildren.
I am interested in people and cultures from all over the world.
Sending postcards to people you don't know is uniting people.

Some of my interests are:

*Classical music and jazz.
*Books like thrillers, historical books, cookingbooks and many others.
*Visiting cities.
*Walking along the seaside, which is far away from here!
*Cross-stitching,
*Baking cakes,
*Playing the organ and the piano.I used to play the bassoon, but I had to quit.

I like animals....I have 2 dogs, 2 cats, 5 chicken and 1 rooster. As we live in a rural part of the country we don't have any neighbours to bother!
I like cows, pigs and some other animals like meercats, I think they are so funny.
Another hobby of my husband and me is traveling by train. We went to Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Hungary, Czech, Scotland, England and the countries around us. We think it is the best way to see and enjoy new countries and people.
A wish of me is visting the Baltic countries by train.And St. Petersburg!!

You can send me all kinds of cards,I love them all, but here are some suggestions:
birds ,animals, people of your country,
historical buildings , musical instruments,
a card with a view, multiple view is oke,
folkloric costumes . Matroushka's . vintage cards are very nice!
Handmade cards, Ad cards, all cards are welcome.
I love stamps!

The only cards I don't like are weapon related cards ! Please don't send them. There is enough hatred and intolerance in our world. We can use Postcrossing for more understanding and tolerance !

One special: Shaun the sheep is a favorite comic to me. Are there any cards of it?
