I prefer postcards written and not in envelopes. UNLESS... if you are from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine -- I love the colorful envelopes with printed scenes on them, so go ahead and use them! Maybe you can tell me, are they required by your postal service? They are always beautiful and I love to see them in my mailbox.

I love to find fun mail, not bills, in my mailbox so I decided to join postcrossing. I will enjoy any postcard you have to send me. My birthday is in August and it would be very cool and fun to get birthday postcards.

I also LOVE roadside attractions like The World's Largest Catsup Bottle, The World's Largest Praying Hands, America's Only Ride Thru Cave, World's Largest Six-Pack (of Beer), etc.

My hobbies include reading, writing, photography, travel, and finding fun things for my three nieces and one nephew. I am a librarian and writer and love my work.

My travel goal is to visit all the US National Parks. I would love to travel overseas as well, especially to the Czech Republic, Poland, France, and Scotland. Giraffes are my favorite animal so my dream vacation is to stay at Giraffe Manor in Nairobi, Kenya.

I'm also interested in pen-pals. I'd love to write to others around the world, either in letters or with postcards, but I do not do private swaps. I currently have some pen-pals in the US and Europe.
