I’m a civil servant and work for the city of Katwijk as a manager for public space. It’s my job to keep a part of the city clean, safe and pleasant to live, work and recreate. I live with my wife Marieke and our son Sander in a small village, called Valkenburg, which is a part of the city of Katwijk. Katwijk has about 60.000 inhabitants and has a history of fishing and agro culture. It is near the North Sea, so tourism is nowadays very important. The region is worldwide famous because of its tulip fields and all kind of other bulb flowers.
As a stamp collector I’m interested in all kind of postal media. That includes postcards. Other hobbies are badminton and bridge. I play both on a competition level.
A suggestion for a card theme is in my hobbies, or else a card from the region or city you live in. I like landscapes and historic buildings.
