About Lika...

Hello everybody! My name is Lika, I'm 27. I live in a small town near Moscow with my husband and our little son Vadim, who was born in July 2008. I like doing many things - reading, photo-taking, penpalling, handicrafts and cooking, and of course, this wonderful project of Poscrossing.

As I'm relatively new to this project, I don't have certain preferences to the postcards I receive, however:

- I love receiveing postcards written and inside an envelope with many different stamps (the more stamps, the better) and the back address where I can answer you;

- please use legible handwriting when you write me. I don't mean any calligraphic writing, just I want to be able to read your message;

- I love postcards which are individual and were made especially for me - so stickers or drawings are welcome!

- please send me a card which you like or would love to receive yourself. Here are some ideas of what I would like to see on the card I receive:
* women who carry children
* wild animals - most of all I like eagles, wolves, hedgehogs, wild cats or marine animals
* people doing everyday things or wearing national clothes
* cartoon/anime heroes or bright faces for my little son Vadim
* vintage cards
* UNESCO sites
* recipe cards (if the recipe is not in English, please translate it to me!)

- I really appreciate hand-made cards as long as you put some effert into them
- ad cards and free cards are ok as long as they have some interesting or nice message on them

- if you want, instead of a card (or with a card!) you can send me
* some stickers
* a teabag (I love herbal and green teas)
* some handicraft item
* some souvenir of your country
* some nice surprise (maybe for my little boy)

- Here are some things which are not among my favourites, so I would be thankful if you don't send me:
* gloomy cards
* multiview cards
* cards with domestic animals like cats and dogs - beleive me, they look exactly the same everywhere in the world!

- if you don't know what to write me, you can use one of these ideas:
* your favourite recipe
* things about yourself, your place, your country - some traditions or superstitions
* if you speak some of the languages which I don't know, please write me some words in it with translation
* or you can just tell me your favourite joke!

Thank you very much for reading and for all your cards!

Happy Postcrossing!

PS Please make sure you read a message from me when I receive your card! Thank you!
