My name is Anna. I´m married and I´ve got two children, 12 and 9 years old. We have also a dog and a cat. Our familys biggest interests are the sea, our boat and our cottage on a small island.
Finland is known as "the land with thousand lakes" - we have really a lot of them! Finland also has a very long coastline and a beautiful archipelago with thousands of small islands and then of course we have our "green gold", as the hole land is covered with forests.Finland has two official languages; Finnish and Swedish.
We live near a town called Porvoo (Porvoo in Finnish and Borgå in Swedish). Porvoo is the second oldest city in Finland,founded in 1346,with a population of 47.000. Porvoo is a small coast town, about 50 km from our capitalcity Helsinki. Porvoo has an idyllic old town. Borgå means "castle river" and there has been a small castle made of timber sometimes at eleventh century.
