About Heidi...

Hello, my name is Heidi. I'm married and we have 3 daughters. We also have pets: 2 dogs, 2 cats and 3 axolotls.

I love photography and use some of my photos to design (real) postcards.
After they got professionally printed, I love sending them out into the big world.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Do I have certain wishes regarding postcards to receive? Yes, but note that these are just wishes, not orders or demands ;)
I would love to read a personal note from you on the card, for example why you chose the card or a little bit about yourself. Or some words or facts about the front of the card.
If you prefer to know what kind of cards we like most.... here are some ideas that might make things easier for you.
What I like :
* Funny cards that make me laugh out loud;
* Sarah Kay and Holly Hobbie (or the look-a-like bonnet girls)
* Correspondances cards (Gaëlle Boissonnard, Marie Cardouat, Colette Reydet, Limoon)
* Blueart Collection cards (Misstigri, Anne-Julie Aubry, June Leeloo, Ludovic Jacqz, Mzelle Marcelle)
* Nouvelles Images (especially the ones with the bright flower/vase scenes)
* Virkkukoukkunen cards
* Silke Leffler cards
* Picturesque old little and/or narrow streets
* Cards with repetitive/multiple objects, shapes, colors etc. like mailboxes, umbrella's, books, hearts etc.
* Beautiful country garden scenes (like a bench with colorful flowers)
* (Old) bikes with flowers
* From Germany I really would love to receive a card with: 'Das Sandmännchen', 'Die Mainzelmännchen' or 'Die Sendung mit der Maus'
* By the way... my husband's name is Peter, so if you have a card with 'Heidi and Peter' on it (or just 'Heidi') I would soooo love it! Look-a-likes are okay too :)
What my daughter Désirée (13) likes:
* Cute manga cards for girls (no violence)
* Lots of pink or pink/black (especially Rebella cards)
* Archeology things / Egypt
* Human anatomy (scientific and such, so no horror or so, she's only 13)
* 30 Seconds to Mars/Jared Leto
What my daughter Cindy (11) likes:
* Adorable wild baby animals
* Cool girly cards
* Justin Bieber
* Graffiti
What my daughter Nena (2) likes:
* Hello Kitty
* Mickey Mouse
* Miffy/Nijntje
* Cute kitten(s)
* Winnie the Pooh
* Dutch Sinterklaas (& zwarte Piet)
etc.
Or you just take a look in my 2 favourites/wishlist galleries, that's an option too ;) There you'll see what kind of cards we love.
Well.... did I gave you enough possibilities with this huge list? Again: don't feel obligated - we like many things.
Is there something that I like less?
I must admit that I'm not very interested in ordinary landscapes, (multi-)view cards, paintings or statues.
No ad- or free cards please.
Happy postcrossing!
