She has been a member for 6 months (180 days).I live in a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri called Chesterfield, which is about thirty minutes from the city. I'm eighteen years old. I'm interested in people and places all over the world, especially Iceland. (If you send me a postcard from Iceland you'll make my life complete.)
If you happen to be assigned to me, I'd like it if you did one of three things: 1) Tell me about yourself and where you're from, and tell me what your interests are (music, books, movies, etc). 2) Possibly the better option is telling me about your day, and your feelings and emotions from that one day. Writing about only one day may give you a chance to be more detailed in the small writing space a postcard allows. 3) Write a favorite quote or lyric. I love music a whole lot, so lyrics would be really special. I like weird cool things. Tell me weird cool things. Don't hold back.
It would also be amazing if the look of the postcard tells something about who you are or where you're from, like a landscape of your town, historical figure, famous or common "thing", art, etc. However, my favorite kind of postcards are the handmade mail art ones (provided you spend some time on them).
If you want to make me REALLY REALLY happy, send me some mail art for my mail call: http://fromanywheretoyou.blogspot.com/ Mail art in general would be great, but that would make me particularly happy. At least check it out and tell your friends.
I know a lot of people on this site say this, but I must say it too. ***Please, no ad cards. I like stamped, handwritten, personal cards that are NOT in envelopes.*** Whatever you send me I will love, as long as it is personal, so don't worry.
I think that Postcrossing is really magical. People who probably have completely different opinions and interests can connect just by writing and receiving postcards, and that's pretty amazing.
I love you for sending things.
Oh, and I'll write you back! I wouldn't mind being your penpal, and sending multiple letters and packages after this first postcard. Packages are especially fun. I'll send you cool knick nacks from around St. Louis.
Thanks for being you.
