A postcard is a form of art and a historic document.

I am a History graduate from the University of Bucharest. My specialty and passion is military history in the form of military theory, military organization, military art. I am also very interested in numismatics and monetary history. Beside this I like to read literature, philosophy and theology.

I like eloquent, postcards made with INTELLIGENCE and GOOD TASTE, postcards that will say something over the years and decades about the context in which have been issued, postcards with cultural content. For example:

(Russian, Baltic, Ukrainian and Belorussian users I would be extremely happy to receive postcards dedicated to the Soviet Armed Forces, or postcards with military theme issued in the former USSR)

-postcards issued by museums, institutions, art galleries, state organs,

-cultural advertisement cards,

-public, cultural or political campaigns postcards,

-commercial advertisement cards which are made with intelligence and good taste or which are from famous and/or historical brands (cars, cigarets, industrial, airways, railway companies, beverages, sweets, banks, etc, etc)

-postcards issued by your country's postal administration (postal stationery cards, First Day Cover maximum-cards and and other maximum-cards made with commemorative or regular cancellations)

-works of art from various nations, styles and schools

-beautiful girls with elegance, attitude and slenderness of spirit and intellect.

-erotic photography (with artistic relevance)

-transport means which stood both as a great technical and artistic achievement (no Lisbon trams and Amish carts as they don't fit in this two categories)

-noble animals in noble and authentic circumstances

All this can be new or old - it doesn't matter.

If you do not have such cards, take a piece of cardboard or paper and write something you would like to share: a thought, something that bothers and saddens you or something that makes you happy. If you are not in the mood for writing draw something or make some collage. :P
