I am a young writer who recently moved from Maine(USA)to Galway, Ireland. I found postcrossing somehow while online. If it didn't exist, chances are I'd have started it up.
I love to get things in the post; letters, postcards, especially packages. And even bills and junk mail, if it means I get some post instead of none. I am constantly looking out the window to check for the green van...
My favourite postcards are architectural; churches, citadels, cathedrals, any important buildings in your area, seats of government, etc.
I also love landscapes, particularity with water and flowering plants.
Postcards with people on them are appreciated, but typical people of your country, or indigenous, not people from somewhere else.
Please send a postcard from your area, if not city/town, then at least region or country.
No multi-views please, and also no cartoons.
Please send postcards depicting actual things/people.
If your postcard is unique, definitely send it.
Send postcards with or without envelopes, whichever is your preference, although I like the character and postmark postcards get when sent without envelopes.
Lastly, all postcards are kept and enjoyed, so don't worry!
