She has been a member for over 3 years (1101 days).Born 1/8/49 - married 16/12/67 and live with my husband Allan in this small harbourside community of McLeod Bay just half an hour east of the city of Whangarei. We have two sons, Paul 5/4/69 who lives in Perth Australia - unmarried and no attachments. Mark 7/5/72 married to Kirsy and a daughter, Angela 17/1/76 - partner John Paul (JP)and their son Logan born 5/6/01. We love fishing and my husband has taken early retirement and has spent the last year helping a builder build our new home overlooking the water. I am office co-ordinator for the Multiple Sclerosis Society. I have a background in early childhood education and counselling. I managed a counselling centre and was the crisis counsellor for over 12 years before coming north, and also volunteered my time with LifeLine, a telephone counselling service, for over 20years. We belong to a local Social Club where Allan plays pool every Wednesday night. They have social events and this is where we have met new people. Our social life consists of going to the Club or to people's homes for barbeques, dinners, drinks. A slower lifestyle that we just love.
