'Drawing Hands' is a lithograph by the Dutch artist M.C. Escher first printed in 1948. Escher used paradoxes in his works often. Douglas Hofstadter in his book 'Gödel, Escher, Bach' calls it an example of an odd loop (merkwaardige lus).
