(Late) Weekend Giveaway: Postcard Locker
Some weeks ago, a package came for us. We weren't home, and a neighbour got it instead, leaving a note on our door. When we went to pick it up, the lady shyly asked us if she could keep the envelopes, which were almost completely covered in lovely stamps from Guyana! :)
Inside those parcels were the postcard packs we are giving away this week! Up for grabs are eight sets of these lovely Exotic Wildlife books of postcards, from Postcard Locker, an online shop from Guyana. Each set features 17 exquisite photos of animals in their habitat: koalas, lions, hippos, jaguars... you name it! Each winner will also receive a small fridge magnet from Guyana.

I really love the Giraffe. Such a gracious animal. A real wonder of nature.
They are majestic and so gentle. We need to preserve them for our children and generations to come!!

I love meerkats, elephants, gorillas, lions, sea lions...

Shame on all the people who make money with exotic animals in circuses and so on. Zoos are okay for me, if they have a wildlife conservation programme...

and best i like...oh, this is a hard question...i´m not sure between okapi and tapir.. can i choose two?
But what fascinates more is the capacity of the True Parrots to imitate all kind of sounds including the human speech.
I like their colors as well.
She loves lions (+ tigers and all big wild cats).
And, besides of that, I also really like the black panthers. They are just the most elegant animals I could ever imagine.
I remember when my friend from Australia came to visit an she was so excited to see all the squirrels. haha

I've seen a young born tapir like on this postcard in Marwell Wildlife. I watched it for .... hours (?)

At the moment I don´t own any animal, but a few years ago we "adopted" Patagonian Mara from Prague Zoo - I think it´s a cute creature that is partly a hare and kangaroo :-)

My favourite exotic animal is the cheetah...since I was a kid I have been in love with this animal's graceful beauty...
They have a huge ability to remember things and communicate with each others, without us humans registering it.
I simply love them and also spend some money to charity projects which work hard on saving the elephants!

We all must try to protect these beautiful animals, but also nature. Its our duty to save animals and nature.
You can support them by WWF, IFAW and many other foundation. Please, consider to help where-ever you can.

I think that koalas are quite exotic for us, in france, they symoblize adventures and attachment in their behavior to keep near to another!
